Publisher review:Double Lists script creates a single, semantically proper, unordered list appearing in two columns. Double Lists script uses some simple mark-up and a small amount of CSS to cleverly create a single, semantically proper, unordered list appearing in two columns.
This is normally done with a table structure which really falls short if the items should be listed. Additional columns could be added to this, but it would make the likelihood of its one drawback becoming a problem greater.
To add additional columns you’d just close up the percentage distance from the left, 33.3%, 25%, 20%, etc., and the negative margin of each column would have to be increased by a factor of 1em or whatever list item height you specify. This could also be applied to ordered lists, bullet- or image-styled lists, or even definition lists using this to style the DT-DD relationship.
Double Lists is a CSS script for Other scripts design by Mike Cherim.
It runs on following operating system: Windows / Linux / Mac OS / BSD / Solaris.
